Brett joined 4D Workshop following stints in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Having been trained in the technically demanding seismic design environment in New Zealand, Brett specialises in breaking down complex engineering issues to achieve economical and value-added solutions.

Brett’s experience covers a wide range of markets and includes large infrastructure projects such as the Heathrow Terminal 2 development and the Tottenham Court Road Tube station upgrade.

Why did you study engineering?

I've always enjoyed breaking down and solving complex problems, so engineering was an obvious choice.

What’s the best place you’ve travelled to?

India. The diversity of culture across the country is eye opening, plus you see some things you won’t see anywhere else in the world.

What’s the best book you’ve read recently?

Nelson Mandela's 'Long Walk to Freedom' - If you want some inspiration on how to never give up in adversity there's your ticket.

Who is the actor who would play me in a film?

Michael Fassbender, but he'd have to master a Kiwi accent.

Are you a sports fan? Who are your favourite teams?

As a New Zealander living in Australia I'm ethically obliged to support the All Blacks.
